🎯 Objective

Prepare a safe bench test for the V4.7B before connecting a machine. Keep motors, external drivers, spindle, laser and other loads disconnected until the checklist is complete.

The steps run from power and communication through every input and output. Follow them in order; each page finishes with a clear expected result before you continue.

🔨 Tools Required

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

🧩38-pin Classic ESP32 ModuleESP32 DevKitC / ESP32-WROOM-32 layout. Do not use the ESP32-S3 module made for V5.77.

🔌12–24 V DC Power SupplyPowers the carrier board. Confirm voltage and polarity; never exceed 24 V.

🔗Micro-USB Data CableA data cable, not charge-only, for the USB connector on the plug-in ESP32 module.

💻Computer with Chrome or EdgeUsed for the FluidNC installer, WebUI, console and file upload.

📏Digital MultimeterUse DC-voltage auto-range for the power, MOSFET, PWM, laser and 0–10 V tests.

🔩Short Test Leads / Jumper WiresFor one low-voltage input at a time. Never bridge unknown pins.

💾FAT32 microSD CardA known-good card for the storage test.

🔧Small Flat ScrewdriverFor screw terminals and the 0–10 V adjustment trimmer.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

🖥128×64 I2C OLEDOptional display test. OLED and RJ12 share GPIO.25/GPIO.27 on V4.7B.

📈OscilloscopeNot required. Only useful for advanced PWM waveform inspection.

🛠USB-to-RS485 AdapterOnly for the optional RS485 test in Section 3.
