Important: The Test config.yaml Is Not for Real Machine Use
The config.yaml used in this checklist is a test configuration file only.
Its only job is to map the board's pins so you can verify every input and output here on the bench.
It is not a ready-to-run profile for your CNC, laser, router, plasma, or other machine.
The motion values, directions, limits, spindle / VFD settings, laser settings, and safety behavior may not match your hardware.
Do not home, jog, cut, engrave, or run a real machine with this test file.
- Create your own
config.yaml using your machine's real settings.
- Set the correct steps/mm and motor direction for each axis.
- Set the correct travel limits, max feed rates, and acceleration.
- Configure homing, limit switches, probe, and E-stop behavior for your machine.
- Check your driver microstep and current settings.
- Configure your spindle, VFD, laser, relay, PWM, or MOSFET outputs correctly.
Safe first test: Test with motors free and uncoupled if possible.
Do not arm the spindle or laser. Confirm motion direction, limit switch response, homing behavior, and E-stop function before installing the machine for real work.
